Today, Simon works as a prominent, full-time solo piper. Based in Hereford, he specialises in providing a high standard of bagpipe music for funerals,& memorial services across Herefordshire, Shropshire, Gloucestershire, The Cotswolds, Worcestershire, The West Midlands, South Wales and even further afield. In addition to his performance work, he also offers private tuition and advice on the Great Highland Bagpipe and he also plays the mouthblown Scottish Smallpipes.
